About Your Librarian
I grew up in Ruston, Louisiana and obtained my B.S. in Agricultural Education and M.A. in Human Relations & Supervision at Louisiana Tech. I also worked on a graduate degree in Criminal Justice at Grambling State University. I went back to school in 2015 to study history and library science.
After working in law enforcement agencies in Louisiana, Georgia, and Texas, I most recently retired as manager of Lake Claiborne State Park to join the staff of Anywhere High School. I also write professionally and serve as a consultant for crime fiction novelists on criminal justice matters. In addition, for the past 15 years, I have taught criminal justice courses for the University of Phoenix.
Among my favorite activities include volunteering with the Louisiana Tech Womens' Softball program and serving as a board member and volunteer curator for the Lincoln Parish Museum.
